5 Stars - It's A Great Learning Tool

I am currently a major in Computer Aided Drafting & Design at ITT Technical Institute. While a student at NESAD, I have learned more than the basics that have been the foundation for my love for AutoCad, from this book. This book has helped me learn the program more than words can express. It's a great learning tool. And I think it is extremely helpful! I still use it today as a reference!

4 Stars - Extremely Useful Reference and Learning Aid

Simple to understand and use. The Step by step approach helps in understanding the basics to more complicated autocad drafting techniques. Design students and designers will find this book an extremely useful reference and learning aid to have around.

5 Stars - The One Guide I Use Over and Over Again

The book is a user-friendly guide to AutoCad and one that I use quite often. It is easy to follow and understand and is well organized. The concise directions and steps allow one to fully understand the commands that are being addressed. It is the one guide I will use over and over again.

5 Stars - One of the Best CAD Books I Have Used

Digital Drawing for Designers by Douglas Seidler was a very valuable learning tool for CAD. The simple, step by step instructions and the easy to follow diagrams made it one of the best CAD books I have used.

"For students of Auto-Cad and Digital Drawing this is the only manual to consider. Since referral to a manual or step-by-step instructions is often a necessity with digital drawing, this book is a very necessary tool."

4 Stars - Totally Devoted to My Drawing Needs

I felt this was a very helpful book. I have taken seminars and work shops for AutoCAD where the instruction was too general. I loved that this book was totally devoted to my drawing needs as an interior designer. The only issue I had with it was there was serval times you needed to refer to another chapter in order to complete a task.

This guide book is unique in that it gives visuals each step of the way, ensuring accuracy. These visuals make Autocad appear easy to navigate...even for a novice.

4 Stars - Don't Leave Home Without It

This book is very helpful for beginners because it gives step-by-step instructions on how to use its most basics functions. It is great to be able to go right to the section/page where you may have a question and quickly solve the problem by reviewing the steps to see if you missed any.
