I am currently a major in Computer Aided Drafting & Design at ITT Technical Institute. While a student at NESAD, I have learned more than the basics that have been the foundation for my love for AutoCad, from this book. This book has helped me learn the program more than words can express. It's a great learning tool. And I think it is extremely helpful! I still use it today as a reference!

Simple to understand and use. The Step by step approach helps in understanding the basics to more complicated autocad drafting techniques. Design students and designers will find this book an extremely useful reference and learning aid to have around.

The book is a user-friendly guide to AutoCad and one that I use quite often. It is easy to follow and understand and is well organized. The concise directions and steps allow one to fully understand the commands that are being addressed. It is the one guide I will use over and over again.

4 Stars - Totally Devoted to My Drawing Needs
I felt this was a very helpful book. I have taken seminars and work shops for AutoCAD where the instruction was too general. I loved that this book was totally devoted to my drawing needs as an interior designer. The only issue I had with it was there was serval times you needed to refer to another chapter in order to complete a task.

This book is very helpful for beginners because it gives step-by-step instructions on how to use its most basics functions. It is great to be able to go right to the section/page where you may have a question and quickly solve the problem by reviewing the steps to see if you missed any.
